App updates

Open Settings → App updates to check the release and read its information. An update check is separate from downloading an installer.

Windows

Confirm the offered update to open the download window. Wait for completion, then use the install/restart action and approve Windows elevation when prompted. A detected update does not automatically download in advance. Installation can interrupt the VPN.

If the app closes without showing an installer, check UAC, system notifications and security software. You can download a trusted installer from the official site and run it manually.

Android

The app offers a notification/button to the update source. It does not automatically download the APK. Install the update normally with a compatible signature.

Update channels

A channel is a source of release metadata, versions and download/page URLs. It is separate from your server subscription. Trusting a new channel means trusting its publisher for software updates; do not use arbitrary URLs from chats.
