Installation

Windows
Disconnect and close an existing Qmesh instance, then run the installer. Approve Windows elevation when required. Use the installed shortcut rather than a second copy from another folder. The installer registers qmesh:// links; a standalone executable does not.
TUN requires administrator rights. Use the app's restart-as-administrator action and approve UAC. Proxy mode normally does not require this elevation.
Android
Open the APK and grant installation permission only to the trusted source you used. On first connection approve Android's VPN permission. Update using a release with a compatible signing key. Do not remove the existing app to bypass an unknown signature conflict without understanding that local data may be lost.
Closing Windows
The close prompt offers disconnect-and-exit or minimize. Remember choice persists your selection; change it under Settings → When closing the window. Minimizing keeps the connection active.
