Open Settings → Applications or Tunneling → Applications. Rules work only in TUN mode with administrator rights; Proxy mode keeps the settings but does not apply them.

Choose Direct, without VPN or Through VPN, then add a process by entering its name, selecting a running program or choosing an .exe file. Save the rules and reconnect.

Matching uses the executable name, not its full path. A chrome.exe rule applies to processes with that name from any folder. Programs may use helper processes which need their own rules. The running-process list is a snapshot; reopen it to refresh.

Through-VPN app traffic still follows the profile's domain/IP routing. It does not override every provider rule. Remove an entry, save and reconnect to restore general routing.

Android

User-selected per-app routing is not implemented in the current native adapter. Use domain/IP rules instead. The apps screen explains this limit and can open Android VPN settings.
